Summit meeting of world market leaders: article on sustainability and disruption

An interview with the CEO of Allfoye Management Consulting, Dr. Thomas M. Fischer about the importance of sustainability in our economy.

Düsseldorf, January 19, 2022.

Over the past 30 years, Germany has reduced emitted carbon dioxide equivalents by almost 500 million metric tons to 760 million. To implement the agreed climate targets, a further 330 million metric tons must be removed from the balance sheet this decade. Zero emissions are targeted for 2045. That renewable energies, green hydrogen and smart technologies will bring us to this "net zero" by mid-century may still be within the realm of possibility, but the "maybe" associated with it is definitely not an option.

Dr. Thomas M. Fischer talks about the decarbonization of the economy and how companies can manage to get people to overcome the "tyranny of small decisions" and strengthen sustainability as a self-evident parameter for professional as well as private actions in his article "Sustainability - Disruption takes place in the head", which was written in the context of the summit.
